This might be the widest topped bull in the sale offering.The dam side of his pedigree goes all the way back to the great Farah cow that Eagle Pass created and propigated so well.We purchased her daughter (Tiara T003) in the National Sale and never regretted it for a single moment. The 935C cow is an extension to this lineage and she has been a very consistent producer (101 WW ratio on 9 calves).This bull along with Lot 13 calf are sired by the Gunner son we retained from our 2024 bulls. Perfermance & carcass are this bull’s strengths. The Gunner cattle work well in our program. They add a tick more frame and length which compliments our cows. His carcass profile is 2nd to none in the purebred population which therefore improves most of the cattle he is mated to. Since Gunner 947G is a red Lone Star son, it is going to take us a bit to have homo black sons from this lineage. The L80 son is doing a great job moving us in that direction. The sons of L80 would be two generations black, so odds are very good you will get mostly black calves if bred to black cows.
