Bronze Medallion

Description Teaches lifesavers of all ages how to respond to complex water rescues. Bronze Medallion builds physical fitness, decision-making, and judgment skills for higher-risk rescues. Lifesavers demonstrate stroke efficiency and endurance in a timed swim. This course is a prerequisite for all advanced lifesaving awards. Candidates must complete a 500m swim (20 lengths) in 15 minutes or less. Emergency First Aid is included, covering victim assessment, CPR, choking, respiratory and circulatory emergencies, and external bleeding. Successful candidates receive an Emergency First Aid with CPR-B certification. Age: 13+ years Fee: $98.60 + $53.00 manual + $8.50 workbook + $30.30 exam fee
