End the school year on a high note by visiting Annandale National Historic Site and touring the summer exhibition, A Marvel Farm: Annandale’s Farm. This exhibition celebrates the 145th anniversary of the founding of Annandale Farm. At its height, Annandale Farm stretched from Simcoe Street north to North Street and east to the county line, with Annandale NHS located in the southwest corner of the original farm. Students will celebrate Tillsonburg’s agricultural roots as they discover the story of Annandale’s historic farm and explore how local crops and farmers helped shape the town’s rich food and farming heritage. Following the exhibition tour, students will participate in a hands-on farm- themed craft to take home, embracing the spirit and legacy of Annandale Farm.
