Terms and Conditions
1. Terms of sale are cash unless prior arrangements have been made. 2. Each animal will be sold to the highest bidder. The Auctioneer will settle any disputes and his decision on such matters shall be final. 3. Any announcement from the block on sale day will take precedence over printed material. 4. Health certificates will be furnished for shipment anywhere in the United States. 5. Each animal becomes the risk of the Buyer as soon as sold. Cattle will be cared for until delivery at the buyer’s risk. 6. All cattle are guaranteed breeders as outlined in the Red Angus Association of America Code of Ethical Sale Practices. All claims for adjustment or refund must be made in writing within six months of sale date. In the event an animal is claimed to be a non-breeder, the seller shall be entitled to six month’s trial following the return of the healthy animal in which to prove the animal is a breeder. If at the end of six months the seller is unable to prove the animal is a breeder, the seller will work with the buyer and either (1) replace the bull with a comparable animal if one is available, or (2) credit the buyer with the purchase price, less salvage, at the next sale. Seller also reserves the right to a second opinion by sellers veterinarian or a veterinarian of sellers choice. Any expenses incurred for transporting the animal shall be the buyer’s responsibility. 7. Everyone attending the sale does so at their own risk. Owners, clerks or other helpers do not assume responsibility, legal or otherwise, for damages of any kind. 8. Bulls will be delivered free in Montana. Balance at cost to out of state. Heifers will be delivered in state on purchases of $5000 or more. Or by prior arrangements. 9. A certificate of registry & transfer will be furnished for each registered animal sold after settlement has been made. 10. The above terms and conditions constitute a contract between the buyer and seller of each animal. These cattle do sell in accordance with the Sale Terms and Conditions set forth by the Red Angus Association of America.
