After that He said, "It Is finished and bowed His head." 7. Last of all, In a loud voice He said, "Father, Into thy hands I com– mend My spirit" and gave up his life. After all that was done to Him they did not kill Him, for He died of his own free will. He gave up His life that we might be given His life and live for– ever, (Review the grain of wheat.) Memory Verse: "God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." Rom. 5:8.
