The 1STXI Team successfully achieved a ¼ final position from their SuperLeague matches, and beat Friends’ School, Lisburn in the semi- final to reach the final against Ballyclare HS. After an excellent close game ending in 1-1, with a Sara Semple goal, it was only penalty strokes which could separate the teams after extra time and unfortunately, Rainey lost 3-2. Holland Hockey Tours

Two hockey tours went to Holland. Mrs Quigley led the Junior Tour with 26 girls and the highlight of the trip, apart from Walibi World, was meeting the GB Ladies Olympic Gold medallist GK Maddie Hinch. Not to be outdone Mrs Burns took 16 Senior Girls to Holland where they enjoyed expert coaching from the men’s No 1 GK in the world, Irish keeper David Harte.
