OUR MISSION CREW exists to transform the commercial real estate industry by advancing women globally.

CREW Orlando’s primary goal is to be the leading commercial real estate organization in Central Florida by attracting, engaging, and retaining the highest quality decision-makers in the industry. We do that through building member-to-member business, dynamic networking opportunities, offering high-quality programming and educational events, and focusing on community involvement and inclusion.

CREW Orlando is the local chapter of CREW Network which comprises over 75 affiliate organizations across the globe representing over 14,000 individual members.

CREW Community CREW Orlando has something for everyone, from insightful tours of local projects to competitive cocktail wars. Our philanthropic programs beautify the city and provide educational resources to impact our community positively.

UNITE UNITE focuses on expanding CREW Orlando’s impact throughout our community by concentrating on diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives and community outreach. UNITE works to attract commercial real estate professionals of diverse backgrounds and partners with other organizations to promote and provide educational opportunities and DEI awareness for our membership. The committee identifies, coordinates, and completes community outreach projects or events that allow CREW to make an impact in the Central Florida area.

RISING UP PARRAMORE

A mural project celebrating the history of Parramore

CREW Orlando has a history of community outreach projects and endeavors, including the Tower of Light. In 2022, CREW Orlando collaborated with the City of Orlando, Orlando Neighborhood Improvement Corporation (ONIC) and local female artists of color to design and paint a mural honoring the Unsung Heroes who provided their services to the community of Parramore during segregation. Particular attention was paid to the history of the Wells’ Built Hotel which hosted artists and musicians of color during their stay in Orlando, as well as professionals (lawyers, doctors, nurses and educators) who provided their services to the Parramore community at a time when its residents could not obtain services elsewhere.

Visit this seven-story mural on display at the CityView Apartment Building, 101 S. Terry Avenue, Orlando, FL 32805, which is blocks from the former Wells’Built Hotel (now, the Wells’ Built Museum).

UCREW UCREW introduces college students to the many diverse opportunities in commercial real estate. We provide students networking opportunities, offer powerful career resources, and provide relationship-building opportunities in career development within the commercial real estate industry in Central Florida. The Program The UCREW committee hosts an annual interactive program that invites college students to explore the various career opportunities in CRE. The half-day program highlights the life cycle of real estate by exploring the vital roles CRE professionals play in a current project. Members with jobs in a myriad of industries related to CRE engage with the students during a real time tour of a high-profile development project. The event also features a relevant keynote speaker, a round-table discussion between students and the professionals, and other career development opportunities for the students.

Thanks to attending the UCREW program during my time at UCF, I was introduced to industry leaders who showed me what the market and realtor sector looks like. I loved it. UCREW had a big influence on my career decision. ~ Gabriela Ferreira

2024 Project Tour: 4Roots Farm Campus

UCREW offers college students interested in Commercial Real Estate an immersive experience at the UCREW event. The Program includes:

The Capstone Students will participate in an active construction “hard hat” tour. This year, students visited the 4Roots Farm Campus in the Packing District of Orlando. Throughout the years, students have toured various noteworthy projects in Central Florida, including the Host Dime Data Center, MCO’s new Intermodal Terminal, the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts, the Winter Park Library and Events Center, Orlando City’s Soccer Stadium, Orlando Health’s Osceola Campus, and Lift Orlando.

The Advice After the project tour, students participate in break-out sessions with CREW members. During these round table discussions, the students receive one-on-one career advice from professionals in their field of study. Students are also encouraged to apply for internships and job shadowing opportunities provided by CREW Orlando member companies.

Our Partners Florida colleges and universities are valued partners. Faculty, advisors, and professors not only promote our career programs to their students, they also share vital information about CREW scholarships and student membership opportunities. In turn, our members are invited to address students at on-campus panel discussions and career day events. It’s a win-win for the students and for the CRE industry.
