M Mortgage Lending Appraisal Requirements: Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac This course is designed to provide clarity into often- misunderstood notions of the GSE appraisal requirements. In this course, you’ll learn how to apply Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac appraisal requirements, choose the proper standardized appraisal form, and write reports that support the lenders’ minimum appraisal requirements, plus so much more. R REO Appraisal: Guidelines and Best Practices Appraising foreclosed and real-estate owned properties brings unique challenges. This course provides you with an overview of relevant concepts, how to determine an appropriate scope of work, and the roles and responsibilities of valuation professionals during an REO appraisal. This course will give you the basic applications of reporting requirements as found in USPAP. You’ll gain particular insight into how to respond impartially and without bias as well as how ROVs are an important element to the appraisal and lending process. Ohio Fair Housing The course aims to introduce civil rights in civil and common law, discussing “human rights” vs. “natural rights, with a historical view on civil rights and fair housing. It covers the Department of Justice’s role, fair housing laws, discrimination against “protected classes,” HUD requirements, Ohio Civil Rights Commission enforcement, and unlawful practices in fair housing. Discrimination involves discerning qualities and recognizing differences, while discrimination against someone is prejudicial treatment based on specific characteristics.”
