Artistry Unveiled Inspired by Dania Sierra
the U.S.A and overseas. Ms. Sierra’s brilliant execution of color and design have earned her the respect and admiration of collectors and colleagues alike.
Art has always been my refuge and solace. I’m most at peace when working on a piece and seeing it come alive.
Each painting carries the artist’s soul within it. When it comes to my subject matter, I get my inspiration from an endless stream of experiences intertwined with present emotions. Nature, animals, and human connections have always played a big part in my pieces. Animals specifically are a recurring theme within my pieces. Their beauty, strength, nobility, and spirituality have a very special meaning to me. I thrive to establish a dialogue with everyone observing my artwork and awaken emotions within them of nurturing, love, pain, freedom, immortality, and hope, that lie within us. My color palette is rich and vivid, giving my pieces a voice of their own. The colors fuse themselves and entice the viewer to and through the compositions, making the first statement before seeing the composition. What is the most rewarding aspect of the creative process? One of the most rewarding aspects of being an artist is it makes me feel alive in a magical dreamlike state juxtaposed with life’s daily chores and this chaotic world we live in today. Sharing my paintings with people and having them resonate with them on a personal level is extremely rewarding. Another rewarding aspect is I can visually see a representation of my life through the years as well as the evolution of my feelings, like new chapters in a book.
