SPRING-CLEANING Time to Take Inventory of Our Well-Being

With beautiful weather, longer days, and a strong desire to avoid being the most unkempt property on our street, I’ve been spending most evenings tackling yard projects. Resetting fence posts, fixing paving stones, clearing gutters, and troubleshooting the sprinkler system have been both productive and surprisingly therapeutic. Plus, it keeps things neighborly with the landscaping perfectionist across the street. Spring is also a perfect time to take inventory — not just of our homes, but of our overall well-being. Just as we reset our yards, we can also reset ourselves. We’ve found a 5-point Wellness Check-In offers a holistic framework to evaluate and strengthen the key areas of our health. These five dimensions are deeply connected, and together, they shape how well we show up for life and for each other.

when needed. Strengthening our emotional health helps us handle stress and stay grounded in challenging moments.

SPIRITUAL Spiritual health is the inner compass that helps us navigate life with purpose, peace, and

gratitude. It can come from faith, reflection, or connection to values and meaning. Cultivating spiritual wellness keeps us aligned with what truly matters. • Steve Tanner: (919) 582-7327 ext. 5297 —

FINANCIAL Getting your financial house in order brings confidence and long-term stability. As part of an employee-owned company, we’re uniquely positioned to build wealth, not just for today, but for generations. Set a plan, stay consistent, and invest in your future.

heavy workload. Always has a great attitude and always works his butt off when he’s here. WOW From: Gustavo Silva, Caldwell To: Stan Hughes, Chris Mhire, and Dustin Wickel, Caldwell When window issues come up, it can be very challenging and overwhelming, but the team made multiple trips to the job site, addressed every concern, and went the extra mile to make sure everything was taken care of. The customer wanted to show her appreciation with a thank-you card and a box of doughnuts for all of their efforts. It’s not every day that we see that kind of appreciation, and it speaks volumes about the dedication and professionalism our team brings to the table. STRIVE From: Chad Beebe, Twin Falls To: Chris Hunt, Twin Falls Chris took a CDL load out to a job on a Friday afternoon and noticed that the I-joists weren’t going to fit the foundation. He made a call to me, and we were able to figure out that we had the wrong package. Luckily, this house pack did fit a house down the street, and we were able to shift it to that job. Problem averted thanks to Chris paying attention and making sure it all fit.

EASY From: Ashley Wheeler, McCall To: McCall Crew

I helped a customer this morning who wanted to give a shoutout to us all! He said this is the cleanest, most organized lumber yard he’s ever been to! Great job, everyone! SAFE

From: Coltin Millward, Pocatello To: Derek Byington, Pocatello

Derek saw me struggling to throw away a heavy garbage sack and jumped right in and helped me toss it in the garbage. It was definitely too heavy, and I should not have been lifting it by myself. Thanks for being an all-around good guy, Derek! GUIDE From: Taq Hernandez, Boise To: Jason Rice, Boise Even though he has 85 will calls, he still makes it to Dispatch to put together orders for the next day and never ever complains about a

In the Spotlight

IN THE SPOTLIGHT REBECCA’S SECRET TO SUCCESS? GRACE, GRIT, AND 452 BOOKS!

At Franklin Building Supply, we know the center of any great company is its people, and Rebecca Carter exemplifies everything we value in a team member. Rebecca has been an essential part of our Design Innovations location for the past three years, serving as our Installed Interiors Scheduler. She wears many hats but handles everything with grace, precision, and an attitude that makes her one of a kind. As the Installed Interiors Scheduler, Rebecca coordinates and schedules subcontractors to install flooring, cabinets, and countertops. She describes her daily experience as “organized chaos” — a phrase that perfectly captures her role’s fast- paced and dynamic nature here. From taking phone calls and responding to emails to managing scheduling changes, new

requests, and installer issues, Rebecca has her hands in it all. “I like the calendar Tetris,” she says. “I enjoy organizing and problem- solving so we stay on track and meet our builders’ deadlines.” Her talent for multitasking and staying cool under pressure is incredible. Rebecca noted she’s motivated by her family and loves to spend time with them every chance she gets. She’s an avid reader — in fact, during the COVID-19 lockdown, she read a total of 452 books! She also enjoys relaxing with a good margarita and traveling. Rebecca’s impact is felt not only in the quality of the work she helps deliver but also in the uplifting energy she brings to our team every single day. Rebecca, thank you for all you do. We love our team, and we especially love having you on it!
