We hope you are enjoying your “Connections” as we try and keep you up to date on what is happening at the Senior Center. A few things to remember this hot month: The SCV Senior Center is an official “Cooling Station” and open to anyone who needs to cool down during the sum- mer months. We are open Monday – Friday from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.. So, if your air conditioning is not working – come spend the day with us. We are expanding services with the addition of “Link- ages” which is a support service to “Link” individuals to the services they may need – please stop by or call the “Support Services” department for more information. Do you have a friend that is “homebound” and needs a meal? We have plenty of openings in our Home Delivered Meals program and they are happy to serve. We are moving along with our capital campaign to build a New Center and we are on schedule, please give if you haven’t and see the information below on how to give. Enjoy August and stay cool at the SCV Senior Center!
