Hereford Bulls: We don’t have a lot of Herefords, but, we are very proud of the quality of the ones we are able to offer. My son Joseph owns all of the Hereford cattle and has been an enthusiast of the breed since first seeing them for the first time at Mark Frederickson’s years ago as a little boy. He bought a small group of bred heifers from Mark a number of years ago and has bred them up from that core group ever since. The three sale bulls are all the result of mating JDH AH Lincoln 106H ET to Josephs best cow McLennan Achieva 11F. This beautiful LCX Perfecto 11B daughter is designed exactly how we hope to mass create going forward. She is a moderate cow with a near perfect udder and great feet. In addition, she is correct in her structure and remains feminine through her head, neck and front end. We chose the power bull Lincoln, after much research, to inject some power, length and red meat into the progeny in an attempt to provide cattlemen with a powerful option to create feedlot demanding feeder cattle.
