It is also recommended to use a variety of dog treats to keep your dog engaged and not always rely on high value dog treats as your dog may soon consider them lower value dog treats and may not have same the desired effect. Choosing single proteins are a great option for treat training. Always remember to treat your dog for the wanted behaviour and not bribe your dog. A bribe is considered when your dog won ' t do what you ' re asking them to do and then you show them a piece of food in order to get them to complete the task. We recommend rewarding wanted behaviours and avoid bribing your dog into the behaviour.
