King's Business - 1951-01

There Is a Mission to the Neighbors Frequently those who live the near est to us know the least about spirit ual truths. This may even be true in religious groups. Your neighbors may go to church and learn nothing. They may be active in church affairs and be ignorant of the true gospel. This is a mission field close at hand and very needy. It is so easy to mistake religion for salvation. It is easy to be occupied with Christian affairs and miss Christ Jesus, the Head of the Church. Good service, however well rendered, never establishes relation ship. There Is a Mission to the Business World God sends this audience to you. The man who hauls the trash prob ably has no friend who cares for his soul. The milkman probably is too busy to seek out the Saviour. The magazine salesman is probably too engrossed in other philosophies to permit him to care for the Lord Jesus. The insurance collector probably has no friend to talk to him about Christ. The policeman at the school crossing probably needs to know the Saviour that you love. The storekeeper also and the postman—these are a mission field. There Is a Mission Field to the Clubs If we should judge by the conversa tions carried on in the P.T.A. meet ings or in any other society or lodge gatherings, we would probably be im pressed with the fact that there is nothing said about Heaven nor any thing that would lead to Heaven. Many of those met together for social and fraternal benefits probably have not met the Saviour nor known the Scriptures. This is a fertile field for the soul winner. Often these friends have hungry hearts. You may bring to them the Bread of Life and the Living Water. There Is a Mission to Strangers in Group Gatherings As we wait in the bus station, there are hearts that are heavy and souls that are sad. In the railroad station and at the airport there are always those who have no Saviour and who are unsatisfied as well as dissatisfied, Here is a wonderful opportunity to converse about Christ. On the train, on the bus, strangers soon become friends when Christ is presented and the gospel is taught. The fields are white everywhere waiting for your message and your ministry. Let us look at every person as a prospect for Heaven.

100,000 DECISIONS FOR CHRIST IN JAPAN IN 18 MONTHS — 5,000,000 Gospels and Testa ments have been distributed by the Japan staff of the Pocket Testament League and the evangelists whom the League has brought to Japan for its nation-wide campaign of evangelization and Scripture distribution. This is only a beginning. Most of Japan’s 80 million souls are still un evangelized. NOW we are free to reach

them. TOMORROW even a year from now — it may be too late. The utmost effort of God’s people is needed NOW. Continue to pray with us for this great missionary task. Write for free copies of the Fuchida tract and the Anderson stories.
