Maths-related subjects such as Statistics, Economics, Accounting or Finance do not meet the Mathematics requirement for this course ■ GCSEs: You also need a GCSE grade 7/A in at least one humanities or social science subject and grade 6/B in GCSE English Language ■ International Baccalaureate: 38 overall including at least 6 in Higher Level Maths ■ Applications from candidates with other internationally-recognised qualifications are also welcomed. MANAGEMENT & INTERNATIONAL MANAGEMENT ■ A levels: A*AA ■ GCSEs: 7/A in GCSE Mathematics, grade 7/A in at least one GCSE humanities or social science subject

Every degree course includes CORE Spine modules from year one through to your final year.

The CORE Spine modules also serve as a base upon which you can customise your academic path. Each course will also include core modules that are specific to that degree, and a variety of electives and pathways that will allow you to shape your degree according to your interests.

YEAR 1 Foundations, Skills and Debates

YEAR 2 Global Business Strategy and Sustainability This module will provide you with fundamental knowledge and tools, as well as opportunities to develop the skills needed for understanding and practicing management in the 21st century. You will look at contemporary issues of globalisation, strategy and sustainability, and how firms navigate uncertain times, and in diverse markets. We have designed the module to give insights into global issues through the lens of both business and wider society.

YEAR 3 Critical Issues in Management

BSc International Management

4 years

Foundations, Skills and Debates is a pivotal module for all first- year students as it supports your transition from formal education to the business school environment. You will work on academic writing, creativity, presentation, and teamwork skills, as well as complex problem-solving and debate. You will explore business and management issues from different perspectives, and in particular around working and managing in the digital age.

This final year module brings together all of your learning. You will have the opportunity to put your experience and knowledge into practice by analysing case studies of topical situations and companies. You will hone your skills by working in groups to prepare you to be a work-ready graduate.

BSc Accounting and Finance with Foundation Year**

4 years

FOUNDATION YEAR ■ Only available to applicants eligible for Home Fee Status and who also meet our Widening Participation criteria ■ A levels: Complete and pass three full A Levels excluding General Studies and Critical Thinking ■ GCSEs: B/6 in GCSE English Language, B/6 in GCSE Mathematics and C/4 in five other GCSE subjects. Applicants with grade C/4 in GCSE English Language and grade B/6 in GCSE English Literature will also be considered ■ International Baccalaureate: complete and pass the full IB Diploma with three subjects at Higher Level and three subjects at Standard Level ■ BTEC: Completion of BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma, to at least pass standard ■ Other qualifications e.g. Complete and pass the Scottish Advanced Highers. ■ For more details on entry requirements visit W  wbs.ac.uk/go/FYentry
