YEAR 1 In your first year you’ll study seven core modules (including a CORE Spine module) introducing you to the fundamentals of accounting and finance. In the second term you will also choose between two elective modules. Exams will typically take place in January and between April – June.
YEAR 2 In your second year you will study five core modules (including a CORE Spine module) and two electives to focus on either accounting or finance. Your eighth module can either be another accounting or finance module, or a module from a different subject area. Exams will typically take place in January and between April – June.
YEAR 3 PLACEMENT YEAR
FINAL YEAR In your final year, you will study one CORE Spine module and then choose four accounting or finance elective modules, allowing you to continue to focus your studies around accounting or finance, or a mixture of both. A further three modules can be taken from a wider range of subject areas such as marketing, strategy, law, organisational behaviour or entrepreneurship.

If you choose to study
BSc Accounting & Finance with Placement Year, you will complete your work or study placement (UK or abroad) in your third year and will return to WBS in your fourth year to complete your final year modules. Your placement year will be assessed by WBS during your year away. There will be online seminars throughout the year to support your learning experience.
