810. OUTREACH HUNT & GO DERBY- 2' Entry Fee: $75 To be eligible, horses must have competed in at least two classes over fences in any of the Outreach sections at the same show. Riders may not have shown over 2’9” or in the USHJA National Hunter Derby at the same show. Riders may show multiple horses in this class. Open to junior and amateur riders only. Horse and rider combinations to jump a Classic round consisting of 5-6 fences. Directly after the completion of the Classic round, horses will pick up their pace and pass through a set of markers to begin the Handy portion of the class. The Handy round will consist of 4-5 fences, where pace, brilliance, and a shorter track are to be rewarded. Option fences may be used in either round, at the course designer’s discretion. Two scores will be given by the judging panel, with one score for the Classic round, and one score for the Handy round. The scores will be added together to determine the total score and placement. In the case of a tie, the Handy score will be designated as the tie breaker. Formal attire is requested, but not required. Prizes and ribbons 1-8th.

Riders may not have shown over 3'0" or in the USHJA National Hunter Derby at the same show. Riders may show multiple horses in this class. Open to junior and amateur riders only. Directly after the completion of the Classic round, horses will pick up their pace and pass through a set of markers to begin the Handy portion of the class.
