OUTREACH CLASSES
The following classes are part of the 2023 USHJA Outreach Program. USEF and USHJA membership is not required to participate in an Outreach Competition or in any Outreach classes. Non-USEF and USHJA members will NOT be charged a Non-Member or Show Pass Fee. USHJA membership at the $35 level or higher is required ONLY for an individual wishing to earn points toward USHJA- sponsored year-end awards. Hunter championships will be presented in each hunter section with the top four over fences earning under saddle points. Equitation championships will be presented in each equitation section with points counting equally for all classes. Combined section championships will be presented in each combined section with points counting equally for all classes. Ties broken by the most points over fences; if still tied, then most points in the equitation flat class.
WALK TROT/CROSS RAILS Riders may not cross enter into the stirrup sections if they compete in Walk Trot or Crossrail classes.
PRE-CHILDREN’S/ADULT No cross entries into classes 3'3" or higher. To be shown over a course of fences 2'6" Class Fee - $55 per class 223, 224, 225, 226. Pre- Children’s/Adult Hunter 227. Pre-Children’s/Adult Hunter U/S PRE-CHILD/ADULT EQUITATION No cross entries into classes 3'3" or higher. To be shown over a course of fences 2'6" Equitation to follow the same restrictions as respective hunter divisions . Class Fee - $55 per class 497, 498, 500. Pre-Child/Adult Eq O/F 499. Pre-Child/Adult Equitation, Flat LOW CHILDREN’S/ADULT HUNTER No cross entries into classes 3' 6" or higher. To be shown over a course of fences 2'9" Class Fee - $55 per class 228, 229, 230, 231. Low Children’s/Adult Hunter 232. Low Children’s/Adult Hunter U/S Class Fee - $55 per class 299, 300, 301. Low Children’s/Adult Equitation O/F 302. Low Children’s/Adult Equitation Flat LOW CHILD/ADULT EQUITATION
STIRRUP DIVISION Open to riders not competing in classes offering fences 2'9" or higher. Fences 2' Class Fee - $55 per class Short Stirrup Hunter Open to riders 11 & Under 233, 234, 235, 236. Short Stirrup Hunter 237. Short Stirrup Hunter U/S Long Stirrup Hunter Open to riders 12 -17 238, 239, 240, 241. Long Stirrup Hunter 242. Long Stirrup Hunter U/S Rusty Stirrup Hunter Open to riders 18 & Over 243, 244, 245, 246. Rusty Stirrup Hunter 247. Rusty Stirrup Hunter U/S STIRRUP EQUITATION Open to riders not competing in classes offering fences 2'9" or higher. Fences 2' Short, Long and Rusty Stirrup Equitation to follow same restrictions as respective hunter divisions .
