LATERAL PENALTY AREA (RED):
1.Option 1 from above – Play the ball from the previous spot Option 2 from above – Drop the ball behind the penalty area in a straight line from the point the ball last crossed the edge of the penalty area. 2. Drop two club lengths from where the ball crossed the edge of the penalty area, no closer to the hole 3. CART PATH: A player is entitled to relief from man-made obstructions, such as a cart path. The player may take relief from the path at the nearest point of relief, no closer to the hole. It is important to take full relief from the path and be certain the player’s feet are not still on the path, as that would be a breach of the rules. BUNKERS: If a player is taking relief for an unplayable ball inside a bunker, she has the additional option to drop outside of the bunker on a line going straight back from the hole through the spot of the original ball; two-stroke penalty.
