A JOURNEY TO THE NORTH POLE
Th e beginning .
~ I ~ AN EXPEDITION.
Once upon a time there was a white elf-like dog named Goblin who lived at 79 Elizabeth Street, London. His dearest dream was to join Santa Claus (not Claws) at the North Pole to become one of his little helpers. He had already acquired great experience as his home became a place to sell his wares during the daytime. A ft er several months of hard work and many treats, his sleigh was nearly ready to go on his big adventure.

A MAGICAL ACQUAINTANCE.
One evening as the lights dimmed a fairy unicorn (he had knitted in his spare time) fl ew out of the toy basket and fl uttered near the doorway. Goblin noticed his magical friend and took this as a sign to begin his journey. O ff and away they went on their sleigh.

THE HAZELNUT TREE.
A ft er a long night in fl ight, Goblin stopped in a nearby forest to rest. Whilst eating some of his favourite treats, a hazelnut fell on his head. It startled a squirrel named Cyril who was curiously observing him from underneath a majestic tree. In exchange for a treat, he shared with him the secret passage to reach the North Pole.

A RIVER CROSSING.
To do so, Goblin had to follow the river. It was a light- fi lled a ft ernoon and the water was glistening, enticing enough for him to get closer to refresh his paws. A joyful Platypus “Pandora” was swimming by, who fl irtatiously caught Goblin’s eye. However, there was a long journey ahead, so with regret he decided to continue on his adventure and leave Pandora to another suitor.

THE SUMMIT.
As he got closer to the North Pole, a snowstorm began. It was dark and the wind was blowing so Goblin struggled to fi nd his way ahead. He began to feel discouraged when suddenly a beautiful blue duck named “Dora” appeared. She was startled as she mistakenly thought that he was a polar bear. Hesitantly, she o ff ered her help and guided him to Santa’s chalet which was only a few paws away a ft er all. Th ere Santa appeared, in his majesty, behind an old wooden door and he wrapped Goblin in a so ft stitched blue blanket to welcome him in. Goblin’s North Pole adventure had fi nally come to an end.
