BIOGRAPHIES OF THE PROPOSED WILMINGTON COUNTRY CLUB DIRECTORS Kimberly A Ciconte Kim is Vice President, Global Solutions, at Kelly Services, a Michigan based global staffing solutions company. She has been in business development and solution design for the staffing industry for 10 years. Previously, she worked at Intel Corporation in various procurement roles in Silicon Valley, Phoenix, AZ and Tel Aviv, Israel. She is a graduate of the University of Virginia and completed her MBA at the University of Maryland. Kim is a native of Wilmington and a member atWilmington Country Club since 2007. She currently serves as Co- Chair of the WCC Swim Committee and Chair of Junior Golf. Kim is also involved in various capacities in the community with CYM Youth Basketball and the Tatnall School. Kim enjoys spending her time at the Club with her husband, Jason Homer, and sons, Matt, Jeff and Jack.They can most often be found on the golf course or on the pool deck supporting theWCC SwimTeam. David E.Wilks Dave has been a member of the Club since 1996. A graduate of Colgate University and Dickinson School of Law, he has practiced law in Wilmington for 28 years, including the last eight years with the firm he founded, Wilks, Lukoff & Bracegirdle. His work concentrates on general commercial litigation. Dave currently serves on the Board of Overseers of Dickinson Law and has held board positions at his church, the local chapter of the American Red Cross and other organizations. He actively supports organizations such as HOPE International and Edify that employ microfinance principles to address severe poverty around the world. Dave chairs the Tennis Committee and has served on the Finance Committee for several years. He enjoys tennis, squash and golf at the Club with his wife, Ashley, and daughters, Sophie and Eliza.

Autumnal Greetings! It has been a great fall, almost summerlike, change from outdoor activity to those of a more indoor nature. Accordingly, our services shift to keep pace. Indoor tennis, paddle, squash and fitness move center stage. The golf course food stands are now closed for the season. Additionally, the Monday golf schedule is dramatically curtailed. The Bag Room and golf carts will not be available until spring returns.While the North Course will remain open for foot traffic, there will be no access to your equipment. If you are planning to play at home or away on a Monday, please plan ahead and get your bag over the weekend.The final day the South Course will be open for play is the Sunday following Thanksgiving, November 26th.

Speaking of Thanksgiving, each year more and more of you celebrate yours with us. Perhaps this is due to the following reasons:We do all the shopping, cooking and cleaning. We have a wonderfully stocked bar and an outstanding wine list. We never run out of silverware and always have enough chairs. Our hours of service allow for you to come at a time most convenient for your family. Our traditional, yet exquisite menu, served buffet style, offers excellent variety. Those reasons alone make it hard to justify going to all the effort yourself.When coupled with the fact that we also pack up extra portions of turkey and traditional trimmings for you to enjoy at home during half time of the “late game”, it is easy to understand why attendance grows each year. Make your reservation today. As much as we’d love to have you join us for Thanksgiving, we also understand that for some, the Holiday tradition centers around “home and hearth”.That is probably why we have also seen a steady growth in the number of Thanksgiving meals served “to go” each year. It doesn’t matter if you only need a quart of gravy or a feast for twenty (including the pumpkin pie), we have you covered. By now, you should have received information on how to pre-order your Thanksgiving food needs. If not, just give us a call. This year, we aren’t limiting our Thanksgiving celebration to just Thursday. The Pub will be holding a pre-Thanksgiving bash (think: Wednesday edition of a Friday) as well as an expanded Brunch offering in theTavern and Grille on Sunday. Both of these “add-ons”make great opportunities to reconnect with friends and family over the long, holiday weekend. Have you seen the wonderful 2017 Holiday and Events Brochure that has been developed by our Communications team? This schedule outlines all our activity through the end of the year. Please review it carefully and make your plans to attend those events you find most interesting. Details of each activity will continue to be shared over the next month but, knowing how your personal schedules fill up, we wanted to give you an opportunity to block out those dates that are most important. There is one small, yet significant “housekeeping” item that I must share. Please recall that the 116th Annual Election will be held Thursday, November 16th at 5:30 p.m. in the Ballroom. If you haven’t already done so, please complete and return your proxy card prior to that date. As always, cocktails and hors d’oeuvres will be served following the meeting.
