Regions of Production MACADAMIAS: Macadamias are Australia’s only native food to enter the commercial food supply. They are grown in Australian tropical climates from Bundaberg in central QLD to Nambucca Heads in northern NSW. PECANS: Well known as a native American nut, pecans are grown from the Hunter Valley and Nelsons Bay on the Central Coast to the Mid North Coast near Kempsey and the North Coast near Lismore. Orchards can also be found in QLD at Mundubbera, Gympie, Bundaberg, the Atherton tablelands and Beaudesert and small plantings in SA and WA.
