God if such dreams were from Him. Third, I kept thinking of Christ and pictured Him -crucified. As a Muslim, this thought was heretical for they do not believe Christ was crucified. However the picture appeared almost daily and in spite of my rejection, I felt a great happiness. It seemed to me as if a voice called me to come to Him, and ordered me to follow Him. Once when I wanted to avoid it, I left my room and wandered in the streets. But the voice kept calling me. Finally, I decided I wanted to accept Christ, but I thought He would not accept someone who had re jected Him so long. Then it seemed to me a voice told me: “ Christ will accept you as He will accept the greatest of sinners. Look!” He showed me the world full of sin, so vile I could not bear to look at it. Then I heard the voice again: “ Now look!" I saw the world pure, holy and clean, and the voice said: "This is a drop of the blood of Jesus that purifies the world.” Because changing one's religion is a legal matter in Lebanon, I went to a lawyer friend of mine who explained the crucifixion of Christ and Christian teaching of salvation. He then introduced me to a pastor in Beirut who helped me more and took me to a Muslim convert who taught me more fully truths from the Bible and the life of Christ in the believer. When I think of this life, I note the various philoso phies of life breaking in upon each other like the waves of the sea. If a man will leave these ideas, he will be able to see clearly the truth and move toward it. After some time of heart-searching and soul- struggle, in which the heart drew the sword of love and fought long with it against reason, with its spe cious arguments, its defense, its evidences, and its logic, the battle finally ended with a complete sur render to and faith in the Saviour and Redeemer, our Lord Jesus Christ. Q. What are you doing now? A. I am in the Lord’s service, helping to spread the Christian faith. At present I am working with a Chris tian, editing and translating a book called Youth Guide, which is being sent to many throughout the Middle East. I am also working at the Beirut Studio of ELWA, preparing Arabic broadcasts to be beamed into the Middle East and North Africa. Q. Do you plan further study? A. God willing, I hope to attend the Lebanese Bible Institute in the fall and study for the ministry. Missionary. Thank you for this interview and may our wonderful Lord, the One who reveals Himself, bless and use you and make you a “ sharp, threshing in strument" in His hands for the salvation of many Muslims.
