All persons are presumed innocent until his or her guilt is established beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law. August 8, 2025 Incidents Two Arrests • Sherry L Schreij, age 47 of Boaz, was arrested on a Warrant for Failure to Appear • Emily Ann Swindell, age 37 of Nahunta, GA, was arrested on a Warrant for Outside Agency Four Accidents with One Injury
• Earl Lee Alexander II, age 26 of Fort Payne, was arrested on a Warrant for Outside Agency • Brad Lee Randall, age 50 of Fort Payne, was arrested on a Warrant for Outside Agency • Shannon Jovan Richardson, age 47 of Rainsville, was arrested for Obstructing Justice Using a False Identity, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Fugitive from Justice and Theft of Property Four Accidents with One Injury • An accident occurred at Glenn Blvd SW and Grand Ave SW, Caleb Dalton Cornette, age 19 of Resaca, GA, driving a 2013 Chevrolet Tahoe, struck Olivia Kaylynn Bevel, age 18 of Fort Payne, driving a 2011 Toyota Camry. Bevel then struck Jordan Kenleigh Hatfield, age 23 of Mentone, driving a 2022 Ford Explorer. Bevel was transported to Dekalb Regional by Dekalb Ambulance Service. August 29, 2025 Incidents • Scam – Occurred at 117 Mills Road E, online investment was a scam, valued at $700.00 Four Arrests • Tommy Wayne Fetters, age 60 of Valley Head, was arrested for Theft of Property • Justin Allen Green, age 25 of Hollywood, was arrested on a Warrant for Failure to Appear • Daniel Segura, age 24 of Valley Head, was arrested for Resisting Arrest • Hunter Dwight Goza, age 18 of Fort Payne, was arrested for DUI and Minor in Consumption of Alcohol Three Accidents with No Injuries August 30, 2025 Incidents • Burglary and Theft of Property – Occurred at 2301 Kennedy Road NE, a window and door were damaged, tools, compressors and a Stihl chainsaw were taken, valued at $1,850.00 No Arrests and Four Accidents with One Injury • An accident occurred at Hixon Road NW and Greenhill Blvd NW, Britt Vaden Heinrich, age 39 of Fort Payne, driving a 2012 Nissan Sentra, left the roadway and overturned. Heinrich was transported to Dekalb Regional by Dekalb Ambulance Service. August 31, 2025 No Incidents and Three Arrests • Carlos Diego Baltazar, age 42 of Fort Payne, was arrested for DUI • A 16 year old juvenile male of Fort Payne was arrested for Domestic Violence • A 17 year old juvenile male was arrested for Underage Consumption of Alcohol Three Accidents with 0 Injuries September 1, 2025 Incidents • Criminal Mischief – Occurred at 158 8th Street NE, aluminum siding on a trailer was damaged, valued at $1200.00 One Arrest • Edward Earl Dunn, age 50 of Fort Payne, was arrested on a Warrant for Outside Agency One Accident with No Injuries September 2, 2025 No Incidents One Arrest • Edward Earl Dunn, age 50 of Fort Payne, was arrested on a Warrant for Outside Agency One Accident with No Injuries September 3, 2025 Incidents • Criminal Mischief – Occurred at 151 8th Street NE, a quarter panel and gas cap cover were damaged on a 2015 BMW 328, valued at $400.00 Two Arrests • Michael Shawn Mitchell, age 43 of Fort Payne, was arrested for Criminal Trespass • Kelly Michelle Kent, age 28 of Section, was arrested for Public Intoxication Two Accidents with One Injury • An accident occurred at Greenhill Blvd NW and 49th Street NW, Nicholas Anthony Visco, age 30 of Fort Payne, driving a 2006 KIA Sport struck Matthew Gregory Claytor, age 40 of Rome, driving a 2017 Ford F150. A 10 year old juvenile male and 52 year old Rachel Seagro, passengers in the GMC Sierra, along with Michelle April Finley, age 50 and passenger in the Altima were transported to Dekalb Regional by Dekalb Ambulance Service.
