Potential Transit Projects
The transit projects summarized in Table 11 and illustrated in Figure 50 include potential route extensions and realignments, new connections, station locations, and traffic signal improvements. The projects, geared towards improving transit safety, access and connectivity, enhance connectivity to existing and planned development areas and provide service in areas that are currently underserved. Please note that the projects below primarily focus on access and connectivity. Additional study will be needed to explore operations and maintenance considerations. Other transit elements that improve and enhance the overall transit system were identified (mid-block crossings, queue jumps, etc.) and maps depicting them are in the Appendix.
