Node 5: Miller Ave & Rosedale St

Node 5 is located at the intersection of Miller Avenue and Rosedale Street It is approximately 1.5 miles from the nearest exit from IH-30 on Oakland Boulevard north of the site (Miller Avenue turns into Oakland Boulevard north of East Lancaster Avenue). It is also located near to East Lancaster Avenue (to the north) which has an access ramp both to IH-820 on the

east, and Highway 287 on the west. Bus Route 4 provides service at multiple bus stops along East Rosedale Street. The node may be served by potential future high-capacity transit on Rosedale Corridor. While there are many currently vacant parcels in Node 5, one of the largest vacant parcels is planned to be redeveloped with a Stop Six Hub development. This development is a future phase of a large multiparcel Stop Six Hub development under construction just outside and east of the node. Given that there are already future development plans in place the catalytic project would support the food trucks that currently cluster at this intersection. This would build on an existing asset that already draws visitors to the neighborhood (see Figure 76 and Figure 77).
