Prioritizing Other Projects

Prioritization of other, non-LPA associated projects like intersections, bridges, transit elements, and active transportation route projects can be found in the Appendix.

C APITAL I MPROVEMENTS P ROGRAMMING

With the prioritization of LPA projects, specific projects will need to be identified and programmed for funding, engineering, and ultimately construction. Project elements (e.g., bridge improvements, sidewalk enhancements, signalization) can be grouped or implemented individually into projects. The implementation timeframe for individual elements is noted below. Short-term Projects Short-term projects are those that can be easily implemented within 0 to 5 years. These project types include:

Safety and Operational Improvements (e.g., access management, left turn lanes)

Bus Stop Improvements

Crosswalk and Sidewalk Installation

Medium-term Projects Medium-term projects include those with moderate complexity that require engineering, funding, and approval considerations. These projects can typically be implemented within six to 10 years and may include:

Bridge Reconstruction

Ramp Reconfiguration
