I MPLEMENTATION C ONCLUSION
The Eastside Transportation Plan is the culmination of public and stakeholder input into developing the future vision for the Eastside. The Eastside Transportation Plan will require strategic collaboration to move toward implementation. For this adopted Plan to be successful, the following steps will need to be taken.
• Conducting detailed design of the Locally Preferred Alternative, leading to construction.
• Implementation of thoroughfare amendments.
• Adoption of Form Based Code and zoning updates
• Identification of funding from design to construction from a mix of local, state, and federal sources.
• Collaboration with strategic partners such as NCTCOG, TxDOT, Trinity Metro, developers, and other stakeholders. The Eastside Transportation Plan, upon implementation, will provide transformative changes to Lancaster Avenue and the greater Eastside, supported by a strong economic development package designed to entice investment and stimulate growth, ensuring long-term prosperity for the community.
