T RANSIT IN THE S TUDY A REA Trinity Metro is the transit provider for the Eastside, connecting people to work, school, medical appointments, shopping centers, and entertainment. Fixed-route buses provide the bulk of the transit service in the study area, but commuters have access to On-Demand transit, paratransit, and van pool as well. The Fort Worth Central Station provides commuter rail service to Dallas, DFW Airport, and the eastern suburbs via the Trinity Railway Express (TRE) and TexRail, see Figure 16, allowing Eastsiders access to every transit connection in the City.
