This is a scholarship that has proven to me that I am worth it and that my hard work really has paid off. It has shown me that I can achieve what I go after and that this is all just the beginning, and I hope to continue to surprise myself and what I am able to achieve. This scholarship has allowed me to focus more on my future and my studies, and I am so grateful. Knowing that this scholarship is in the memory of Heather Hermanson’s father, a CPA himself, is even more honoring to have received this scholarship. Being a recipient of a KSU Foundation Scholarship means more than just money to me. Of course, this scholarship will help me financially pursue my aspirations of becoming a CPA, which helps tremendously. More importantly, this scholarship adds to my motivation to succeed throughout the graduate program because I am not only representing myself, but I am representing Mr. Stevens and the KSU Foundation. Receiving this scholarship is particularly meaningful to me because it allows me to continue my education by pursuing my master’s in accounting.
