This Kevin J. Hayes Memorial Scholarship comes at a time of great need. Recently, many family situations have come up leading me to become 100% financially independent. This scholarship pushes me closer to achieving my goal of graduating from college debt- free. I have worked full-time throughout college while taking a full course load. Also, I have just finished up an internship at EY, where I worked a ton of hours to help achieve my goal of a debt-free start to my career. Also, this Scholarship gives me an opportunity to only focus on the MAcc instead of having to balance that & a job. Overall, this scholarship gives me the ability to not stress as much financially and allows me to become more focused on the Master of Accounting Program. I am excited to get started and make all those who have invested in me proud!

This scholarship really means a lot to me, and it will help me with the graduate program. This scholarship will reduce my financial burden, which, in turn, will allow me to focus more on learning and maintaining my GPA rather than having to worry about how I'm going to pay for school. To me, this program is priceless because of the opportunities that it opens for the future (and to receive aid while attending it is a big plus!) Again, thank you for your generosity.

I am so thankful to have received a scholarship from GSCPA and CRI! I look forward to being able to use it toward my pursuits to be a CPA as I start the MAcc program at Kennesaw State University this coming fall.
