Green Hills Gelbvieh and Hope Cattle Services - Spring Turn Out Sale [4/4/26]

Welcome back to our sixth sale in Oxford! We are extremely pleased to once again join with friends and customers to bring you this set of cattle. We believe that sound structure, actual performance, and pleasing phenotype are the key to productive cattle with longevity that will help add dollars to your program for years. Our bulls are developed on pasture supplemented by high roughage feed so that they do not fall apart when they are turned out on pasture. The bulls in the offering have passed a breeding soundness exam, have been trich tested, have been tested PI-BVD negative, vaccinated with Vira Shield VL5 HB Somnus and Vision 7 with spur, and poured with Eprinex within the last 30 days. Genomics have been sent in on the Gelbvieh bulls and will be available sale day. These bulls have survived 3 rounds of culling: at weaning, at yearling, and at picturing. Cows offered in the sale have tested PI-BVD negative, been vaccinated with the same vaccines, and poured with Cydectin within the last 30 days. We are a certified and accredited herd so all cattle over 2 have been tested negative for TB and brucellosis. Green Hills is a family operation and we have been involved in cattle breeding for over 30 years. As many of you know, our 3 sons are actively involved in our program, so we feel our program has many productive years ahead. We look forward to working with old friends and customers and making new ones on April 4 th . See you in the barn, Walter, Lee, Garrett, Justin, and Austin Teeter Welcome to the sixth Green Hills Gelbvieh & HOPE Cattle Spring Turn Out Bull & Female Sale. It is a privilege to once again be working with the Teeters to bring you this sale offering. We want to say thank you for taking your time to review the bulls and females that are available in the sale offering. We strive to produce real world cattle that will work for all types of cattlemen. We feel that bulls should not only have good numbers, but just as important, they need to have sound feet and legs along with phenotype to go out and perform. Not only do we feel that they must have a good foundation to stand and travel and the phenotype that we desire, but we also pick and cull for disposition. Most of the cattle work is all done by Cortney and me ourselves, so we feel that that it is extremely important and beneficial to have easy handling cattle. These cattle are not pampered, as they run and calve on grass pastures until weaning. Once weaned, they are sorted and run out on pastures being supplemented with a high roughage feed to allow for them to grow and express their genetic potential without being detrimental to the longevity of a breeding bull. All bulls have been evaluated and passed screening/culling to guarantee that we are bringing you high quality bulls that will work. Thanks again for looking at this sale offering.
