For the Children F riends of J esus ax W ork T oday M ark 16:15, 20; A cts 5:42 MEMORY VERSE; “ Go ye into all all the world, and preach the gospel (Mark 16:15). The Lord Jesus had told His friends that He was going to return to Heaven after He arose from the ,dead. Perhaps some of them wondered what would happen to His work after He went away. They may have wondered how others would hear of His love for them. Just before the Saviour left His dis ciples, He said to them; “ Go you into all the world, and preach the Gospel to every creature” (Mark 16:15). Je sus’ disciples were to tell the story of His love to all the world. If they failed, men and women would never hear the Gospel message. God’s Word says, “And they went forth, and preached everywhere, the Lord work ing with them” (Mark 16:20). The Lord Jesus says to each Chris tian today, “ Go ye." Have you told another boy or girl about your Lord? IS there someone in your home or in your school or neighborhood who has not received the Lord Jesus as his or her Saviour? If you fail to “Go,” that one may never have the joy that you have' of being a Christian. Perhaps someone will “make fun” of you for talking about your Lord, but He will give you the courage to obey His com mandment. Ask God to make you faithful each day in talking to some one about your Saviour. If you feel you are too little to tes tify for Jesus, remember that if you can talk at all, you can speak for Him. “Stand up, stand up, for Jesus.”
