With Scholastic Literacy , students have multiple opportunities to write about what they’ve read. With Writing Workshop, teachers model writing skills using the whole-class reading lesson mentor text. Students then apply what they’ve learned and practice writing in small groups or independently. Educators wrap up writing instruction by bringing the class back together to share their writing. Additionally, students have the opportunity to develop traits-writing skills in small groups or independently.
