1. Trustees must specifically approve the Athletics budget in open public meeting 2. If there is an operating deficit, Trustees must: • Approve a plan to reduce operating deficits in future years; • Conspicuously post to the university’s website athletics financial statements for the prior three years as well as the plan to reduce deficits • Approve in advance any expenditure over $250k
