We must overcome the remoteness and cost of building infrastructure. “When you think about mines in Alaska, they are all Z[P]L_TYRLYOZYRZTYRBSP]PL]P_SPYPbZYP^* “I hope we get a national minerals policy; and we real- ize we can produce minerals in Alaska and not import them from foreign countries. We have experts working within the mining industry in South ,XP]TNL7ZbP]#LYO.LYLOLbSZL]PbTWWTYR_Z^SL]P our experiences. “That to me is one of the things that we trying to do in Alaska — for Stantec, it is to work with a mine, cradle to grave. “We can do surface or underground mining or design rail or road transport for mines.
