Make plans for ’20 conventions! 2020 will be a busy year for Alaska miners and for AMA. We will have two important conventions in 2020: The Spring 2020 Biennial convention in Fairbanks beginning March 30, and our annual Fall 2020 Convention in Anchorage beginning Oct. 31. :Y_SP^P[LRP^bPZʬP]ZYPXZ]PWZZVMLNVL_9ZaPXMP] 2019’s historic Anchorage convention, as a reminder of why these events are both so rich with opportunities for miners and supporting industries of all sizes, and so much fun! Convention week seminars, speakers and programs cover the spectrum of opportunities and challenges facing Alaska miners. Our trade shows draw not just window shoppers, but M`^TYP^^P^XLVTYR[WLY^LYOʭYLYNTLWNZXXT_XPY_^QZ]XZ]P mining work in 2020 and beyond. The popular Core Shack included updates and samples from great projects poised to bring more mining jobs to Alaska. :`]PWPN_POZʯNTLW^Q]ZXdZ`]SZXP_ZbY_Z5`YPL`_Z Washington D.C., make it a priority to attend, to listen and to learn from our industry, about the issues that are critical to our future. And there’s plenty of time to network, share and just visit with our peers in the industry. Ours is a small, close- knit and powerful industry, when we work together.
