30 years of IDO World Tap dance Championships

Mrs. Gloria Jean Cuming accompanied Linda Abate to Dresden to watch the event. Please read her statement on the section Who is Who .
A year later Gloria-Jean came back to Dresden and won the new IDO category of “Tap dance Formations” with a stunning formation …. and numerous titles afterwards. Gloria Jean Cuming set “ levels of excellence ” during the “IDO World Tap dance Championships” for all following performances. The IDO World Tap dance Championships owe Gloria Jean Cuming a big thank you and appreciation.
In 2002 the IDO awarded Gloria Jean Cuming as “ Choreographer of the Year ” and published her in the IDO-Hall of Fame.

EXCEPTIONAL & OUTSTANDING In Dresden some special dancers appeared in stage, who developed the success of the IDO World Tap dance Championships since and until today as very successful dancers and later as national and international teachers, famous choreographers and/or IDO licensed judges: Mr. Matthew Clark from Buffalo, USA which is so close to the Canadian border. Matthew is also working for the National Canadian Dance Teams. Matthew has won Gold medals as a dancer and uncountable medals as excellent choreographer full of exciting intensions for tap (and also show-) dance solos, duos, trios, groups and formations on either sides of the Canadian / USA-border. Mr. Fabrice Martin from Lausanne, Switzerland who was the most successful dancer in the IDO World Tap dance Championships over more than 15 year with 13 Gold medals as a male soloist, in trios, small groups and with his formation - not to mention the many placings on silver or bronze results.
