30 years of IDO World Tap dance Championships
2022 - IDO World Tap dance Championships in Velika Gorica, Croatia, November 23-25, 2022
Excellently organized by Jasminka Zajec & Linda Valjalo and both her teams in cooperation with “ Croatia - Hrvatski plesni savez ” - “ Croatian Dance Association ” .
The IDO World Tap dance Championships could not be organized in Riesa this year. The reason was when the final decision had to be made in September 2022 there was a great fear of not enough natural gas for the winter 2022/2023 in Germany and the more than unfortunate situation was hanging like a “Damocles sword” the SACHSENarena might be closed by the authorities to save natural gas before or during the running events. Therefore we were more than happy, that the IDO and the friends and colleagues in Croatia took over in a very sudden timeframe where this problem would not occur.
