A vineyard full of bumblebees is a sign of healthy vines and flavoursome fruit.
Our bees play a vital role in our ecosystem: contributing to around a third of the world’s crops with their pollination. However, the world’s population of bees is in sharp decline. Intensive farming practices, the use of agricultural chemicals, and global warming are all to blame. The decrease in their population poses a serious threat to human livelihood. To try to combat this problem, we’ve taken a ‘back to basics’ approach to farming – through cultivating our vines sustainably.
Rhône Valley, France
Situated 10 km from the sea, the climate is mild. While the mistral wind com- ing from the mountains dries the vines, the Marin brings a breeze of humidity. The soil is made of gravels which oers the best conditions for the growth of the vines. Small gravels on the plots for the white and rosé varietals and larger gravels for the reds. The gravel absorbs the heat during the day and warms the vineyards it at night.

Inkarri
MENDOZA, ARGENTINA
Inkarri wines are produced from the organic and Biodynamic vineyards in the small village of Agrelo, Lujan de Cuyo, “the home of Malbec.” An ancient Inca legend says the Sun conceived a son with a woman of the Earth-Pachamama. The child, who received the gift of being fully connected with Mother Earth, was called Inkarri. He became a great King and taught his people the intuitive wisdom that allowed them to live in balance with them- selves and their environment. Inkarri vowed to rise again one day to restore harmony in the relationship between Pachamama and her people. The legend lives on in this beautiful organically grown wine that honors the Inca’s ancient understanding and re- spect for nature.
