THIS YEAR’S THEME The theme for Snowcamp this year is “Cause the Effect.” The desire is to draw our attention to this feeling that we have all experienced, that we are caught in a system we have no control over Cause and Effect. But the gospel gives us the power to break free of the cycle and be part of the change, instead of having the effect caused on us, we can cause the effect. Our theme verse is Acts 17:6b. Different translations use different words to describe the impact that Jason and his friends had, but the sentiment rings true across them all, Jason and the brothers of the early church caused an effect on their world. Their obedience to God and their unashamed proclaiming of the gospel made a difference. This is the same thing we want to rally students around. Research tells us they a looking for a cause, and when they get behind something, they make a difference. We are so thankful for the partnership between your ministry and Word of Life. We are praying that God will do great things this weekend in the lives of each of your students.
