Biola has always placed an em phasis upon dealing w ith individuals, seeking to lead them into a know ledge of the Lord Jesus Christ. In this area of service, since school started in Sep tember, 3,939 people w ere personally dealt w ith , resulting in 555 professed conversions. Students w ork in various assign ments w h ich range from m inistering in m issions and on street teams to serving as chaplains fo r meetings or comm un ity city councils. M ore than 1,000 students are attending the fou r schools of the 54-year-old Christian training center, the B ible Institute, Biola College, Biola School of M ission ary M edicin e, and T albot Th eologica l Sem inary. Biola Student Quartet Prepares for Summer Ministry A ga in this year the Biola Student quartet w ill be covering m any m iles and a num ber of churches throughout the country. On the most extensive tour conducted in recent years, the quartet plans to m inister in churches throughout California, A rizona, N ew M exico, Texas, Arkansas, Indiana, Illinois, M ich igan , Ohio, W isconsin, M innesota, Iow a, Nebraska, W y om ing, M ontana, Idaho, W ashington and Oregon.
