INVESTMENT PLAN

Many of the Lord's people today are seeking a sound investment-income plan. Those who want to give a part of their savings for investment in this Christian enterprise, and at the same time receive regular dividend returns, find this plan meets their needs. When you enter into this type of an agreement with the Bible Institute of Los Angeles, you become an active participant in all of its missionary activities. The investor is given maximum protection, in case of emergency, through the withdrawal clause, which makes possible recovery of funds originally invested. What better way can one receive an income in the Lord's work!

The Reavis Family Glen ’52 SMM and Edith (Blaha ’52 SMM) Reavis are on furlough from Ko rea, where they serve with TEAM. Ruth Casey ’48, Ivory Coast Republic, West Africa, teaches reading classes. Martin ’58 and Joyce Jose, Brazil, are kept busy repairing items that the people bring. Joyce has been holding children’s meetings. Finally their river launch, “Maranatha,” is sailing, enabling them to do river work. Donald ’28 and Dorothy ’28 Fairley are on furlough from Gabon Republic in Afri ca. They expect to return this summer. Robert ’48 and Doris (Parker ’48 SMM) Allen, North Nigeria: “ Our station nurse will leave for England and there is no one to take her place. This means that we will be treating about 100 people a day at the dispensary, and at the same time I will have to do some more building to accom modate the school.” Andrew ’ 16 and Birdie (De Hoog T6) Uhlinger, Republic of Congo: “We have a Bible Class for our women. When they finish it they will receive certificates. After our Bible class we have a sewing class for an hour. Thursdays we have prayer meeting. The women take turns giving a short message and most of the time is spent in prayer. Fridays we go to the villages and also visit the leper camp. We have permission now to hold meetings in the military camp and pris on.”
