Student Volunteers 🌵 Desert Days 2026 – Student Volunteer Interest Thanks for your interest in being part of Desert Days 2026! We’re excited to welcome passionate, motivated student volunteers who are ready to learn, network, and contribute to an unforgettable professional development event for SLPs. The commitment is for Friday May 1st in the afternoon through Monday May 4th in the morning. Why Volunteer? Volunteering at Desert Days offers students a front-row seat to the world of speech-language pathology outside of the classroom. You’ll get: Free access to sessions you help monitor (YES — learn while you volunteer!) A Desert Days Volunteer T-shirt Networking opportunities with practicing SLPs, speakers, and exhibitors Volunteer Hours to list on your resume and graduate school applications Registration reimbursement (see below for eligibility) Whether you’re a graduate student, SLP assistant, or a future SLP in training, this is your chance to dive into real-world clinical tools, gain exposure to leading voices in the field, and connect with a passionate community of professionals. Registration Reimbursement: We love to support students! Volunteers qualify for full student registration reimbursement when working the entire event. Student registration is $145.00 and will be reimbursed within two weeks of volunteering. We will send you a student invoice at the time of the volunteer commitment. Need a hotel room? We will provide a link for you to book your room once you have committed to volunteer and your registration has been purchased.
