Torrens Rail Junction Concept Design— $150m CIVIL AND STRUCTURAL
In collaboration with the Department for Infrastructure and Transport, WGA prepared the concept planning for the Torrens Rail Grade Separation project.
The project involved the grade separation of the Outer Harbour railway line under Park Terrace, and the grade separation of the Gawler Railway line from the Australian Rail Track Corporation line.
Services provided by WGA included, road design, rail track design and concept structural engineering.
ARTC Track and Civil Independent Verification— CIVIL, RAIL AND STRUCTURAL
WGA has performed Independent Track, Civil, and Structural reviews to the Precision Group for over 25 regional track upgrade projects undertaken all around Australia for Australian Rail Track Corporation (ARTC). These projects involved an independent assessment of the designs produced by Precision Group against the relevant ARTC Design Standards and the preparation of an Independent Verification Certificate to ARTC.
Exeter and Menangle - Activated Mazes for ARTC—$2m CIVIL, RAIL, STORMWATER AND WATER SENSITIVE URBAN DESIGN WGA working with JMDR prepared the detailed design and documentation for two activated pedestrian crossings in Exeter and Menangle in New South Wales for the Australian Rail Track Corporation.
The new crossings replaced old, non Disability Discrimination Act compliant crossings with new activated mazes with automated gates.
