300 Ouellette Ave. Building System Upgrades + Consulting Management Windsor, ON
The 300 Ouellette building is a five-storey concrete and steel frame building containing multiple commercial units. It is now the home of the School of Computer Science Master of Applied Computing (MAC) program, hosting nearly 700 full-time students pursuing education in software develop - ment and advanced computing.
Total area: 63,000 sq. ft.
Scope of Work
Full structural scope involved foundation and framing system design, load analysis, and support for MEP compo - nents, all aligned with OBC and CSA standards. Mechanical design covers HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and venti - lation systems suitable for educational environments. Electrical scope includes power distribution, lighting, life safety systems, and coordination for low-voltage infrastructure. The energy study will include modeling, identification of energy-saving measures, feasibility of renewable systems, and compliance with efficiency codes.
