Purpose Creating a community with family homes and diverse activities
The Caldwell First Nation is an Anishinaabe group within the Three Fires Confederacy, consisting of Potawatomi, Oda - wa, and Ojibwa bands, originally affiliated with the Mikinaak and Makwa dodems. Their land base is in Leamington, Ontario, Canada, with an 80-hectare reserve acquired in November 2020.
Scope of Work
Mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) design and engineering services for various projects, including: Three Fires Restaurant – an existing single-story restaurant/bar and marina planned to be completely renovated, with a second floor to be added that includes a new kitchen and bar, private dining, and a rooftop patio; The Cultural Center – a new 6,500 SF two-story building that will contain office space, a gift shop, washrooms, a kitchenette, and an art gallery featuring artwork and artifacts; Food Grade Warehouse Retrofit – a 9,500 SF abandoned warehouse with office spaces planned for renovation, including front office space with change rooms/washrooms, a large storage area, and a pod storage room; and Office Renovations – a one-story front office space planned for a 2,000 SF expansion con - nected to a larger warehouse.
