What a night! Last month, I had the honour of hosting back-to-back Robbie Burns Dinners featuring an incredible lineup from The Glenlivet Distillery: the 12, 15, 18, and 21 Year expressions. We kicked off the evening with The Glenlivet Founder’s Reserve Elderflower Collins, which was a hit with the attendees! Sharing the rich history of The Glenlivet, celebrating its 200th anniversary this year, was truly special. The audience, filled with devoted fans, soaked in the stories of its rich past and loved hearing more about the great connection to the distillery and Canada. The attendees absolutely loved the wonderful address to the haggis, filled with wit, humor, and tradition—it truly brought the spirit of Robbie Burns alive!
It was a night of celebration and camaraderie—friends coming together, couples enjoying date night, all while learning about Robbie Burns, The Glenlivet, and savouring great food and whisky. I truly love walking and meeting everyone to at these dinners to learn more about their adventure into whisky and answer any questions they have - with some being new to the world of whisky to experts and avid collectors.
