UAE NATIONAL DAY CELEBRATING UNITY AND HERITAGE On 2 December, the UAE marks 54 years since the unification of the seven emirates. It’s a day to honour the country’s journey from desert beginnings to a world leader in innovation, hospitality, and culture. Throughout the resort, guests can experience the warmth of Emirati traditions; from live falcon shows and Arabic coffee rituals to date tastings and local music. Take a moment to join the celebrations and connect with the spirit of the nation. Today, the ocean still anchors the city’s identity; a reminder that every ripple tells part of Dubai’s story.

INTERNATIONAL VOLUNTEER DAY DOING GOOD IN EVERY DIRECTION

Observed globally on 5 December, International Volunteer Day recognises those who give their time to make a difference. At Marriott Resort Palm Jumeirah, this commitment is part of our DNA through Serve 360: Doing Good in Every Direction, Marriott International’s global sustainability and social impact platform. Guided by its four coordinates; Nurture Our World, Sustain Responsible Operations, Empower Through Opportunity, and Welcome All & Advance Human Rights we actively engage in initiatives that strengthen our community. As of October 2025, our team has contributed 2006 volunteer hours, with 34 associates participating across various projects, raising over $44,454 i n cash and in-kind

EDUCATION FOR CHILDREN Make a Difference with Every Stay Education has the power to transform lives, and you can be part of that change. Through our partnership with Dubai Cares, we are proud to support the Education for Children initiative, helping provide quality education to children in need across the globe. Guests staying at our resort can opt-in to donate just $1 per night, directly contributing to vital programs that remove barriers to education, from infrastructure to emergency relief. Every small gesture adds up, creating a meaningful impact.
