As they walked, they noticed a young girl named Eleanor, who looked sad and worried. She was holding a small basket of herbs and flowers, but no one seemed interested in buying them.
“What’s wrong, Eleanor?” Lily asked kindly.
Eleanor sighed. “My family depends on me to sell these herbs and flowers, but no one wants to buy them. We need the money to buy food and supplies.”
Lily thought for a moment. “Maybe we can help you. Let’s find out what the villagers need and how we can make your herbs and flowers more appealing.”
Bella fluttered around the market, listening to the villagers’ conversations. She returned with an idea. “Many villagers are looking for remedies for common ailments. If we create a sign explaining the healing properties of the herbs and flowers, more people might be interested.”
Lily smiled. “That’s a great idea, Bella! Eleanor, let’s make a sign together.”
They gathered materials and created a beautiful sign that explained how the herbs could be used to make teas for colds, ointments for cuts, and potpourri for freshening homes. They also decorated the stall with fresh flowers to attract attention.
Soon, villagers began to stop by, curious about the remedies. With the sign’s help and Eleanor’s knowledge, the herbs and flowers sold quickly. Eleanor’s face lit up with joy as she realized they had made enough money to support her family.
“Thank you so much, Lily and Bella!” Eleanor exclaimed. “You’ve saved us!”
Lily hugged her new friend. “We’re happy to help, Eleanor. Remember, understanding what others need and oƯering help can make a big diƯerence.”
